The Rann Utsav is a major desert festival started in 2005 as a three-day festival is today a 100-day festival beginning on November 01 and concluding on February 20 every year. • Q1. Who is eligible for e-Visa Services?

  Ans - The following are the eligibility conditions for availing e-Visa services-
    i. Nationals of countries listed on the e-Visa website are eligible to apply for e-Visa Services.
    ii. Foreigners whose sole objective for visiting India is
      (a) Recreation and sightseeing
      (b) Casual visit to meet friends and relatives
      (c) Attending short term yoga programme or short term courses on local languages, music, dance, arts & crafts, cooking, medicine etc. which should not be a formal or structured course/programme (courses not exceeding 6 months duration and not issuing a qualifying certificate/diploma etc. to the participants)
      (d) Voluntary work of short duration (for a maximum period of one month, which do not involve any monetary payment or consideration of any kind in return)

      (f) As attendant to e-Medical visa holder
      (g) Business purpose
      (h) Attending a conference/ seminar/ workshop.
    iii. Passport should have at least six months validity at the time of making application for grant of e-Visa and a re-entry permit, if that is required under the law of the country of nationality of the applicant.
     The passport should have at least two blank pages for stamping by the Immigration Officer.
    iv. The foreigner should have return ticket or onward journey ticket, with sufficient money to spend during his/her stay in India.
    v. Foreigners of Pakistani origin or having Pakistani Passport are not eligible for e-Visa. Foreigners who are not Pakistani nationals, but whose parents or grandparents (either paternal or maternal) was born
     in, or was permanently resident in Pakistan, are also not eligible for e-Visa. They may apply for regular Visa at Indian Mission.
    vi. Not available to Diplomatic/Official Passport Holders or Laissez-passer/ international travel document holders.
    vii. Not available to individuals endorsed on Parent's/Spouse's Passport i.e. each individual should have a separate passport.

• Q3. Is there any other website apart from the government website to apply for the e-Visa application?

  Ans- No, https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/ is only the official website to apply for the e-Visa Services.
     Note - Services of e-Visa are completely online and no facilitation is required by any intermediary / travel agents etc. It is advised not to believe or fall in trap of any such unscrupulous elements who claim speedy/express grant of e-Visa and charge money for it.
     Do not share your personal information with any unauthorized website as it may lead to leakage of your personal data.  

• Q4. Is there any fee other than the processing fee?

  Ans- No, there is no fee other than the processing fee for e-Visa application and it is non-refundable. Please visit our website to know the fee applicable for your country as it is country-specific.

• Q5. When should I apply?

  Ans- (i) For e-Tourist Visa (01 year / 05 years), e-Business Visa, e-Medical, e-Medical Attendant and e-Conference visa, applicants of the eligible countries/territories may apply online minimum 4 days in advance
     of the date of arrival. Such application can be made 120 days in advance from proposed date of travel.
     (ii) For e-Tourist Visa (30 days) , applicants of the eligible countries/territories may apply online minimum 4 days in advance of the date of arrival. Such application can be made 30 days in advance from proposed date of travel.

• Q6. Do I get a confirmation of submission of my e-Visa application?

  Ans- Yes. Immediately after you submit your e-Visa application and make the payment, you will receive a confirmation of submission of your application on the email id provided by you while filling up your application form.

• Q7. When will my e-Visa be issued and how will I be informed about it?

  Ans- Your e-Visa application may take 72 hours or more for processing. You will be intimated about your Visa status (Granted or Rejected) on your email id provided by you in the e-Visa application.

• Q8. Can I check the status of my e-Visa application?

  Ans- Yes, you may check the status of your e-Visa application by visiting our website: https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/ and clicking on 'Check your Visa Status' Tab provided on the website.

• Q9. What is the validity of e-Visa?

  Ans- The validity of e-Visa would be according to the e-Visa service you have requested in the application form as -
     For e-Tourist Visa (01 year / 05 years), the validity would be 365 days / 05 years from the date of grant of ETA with Multiple entries and continuous stay during each visit which shall not exceed 90 days except nationals of USA, UK, Canada and Japan. In case of nationals of USA, UK, Canada and Japan, continuous stay during each visit shall not exceed 180 days.
     For e-Tourist Visa (30 days), the validity would be 30 days from the date of your first arrival in India. Double entries will be granted within the e-Visa validity period stamped on your Passport. Your first arrival must be between the date of issue and expiry of ETA.
     For e-Business Visa, the validity would be 365 days from the date of grant of ETA with Multiple entries and continuous stay during each visit which shall not exceed 180 days and no registration would be required if stay is for a period of less than 180 days. However, if the intention is to stay for more than 180 days, then the foreigner shall get himself/herself registered with the FRRO/FRO concerned
     (https://indianfrro.gov.in) within two weeks after the expiry of 180 days of his/her arrival in India.
     For e-Conference Visa, the validity would be 30 days from the date of arrival in India with Single entry.
     For e-Medical Visa, the validity would be 60 days from the date of first arrival in India and triple entry will be allowed within the e-Visa validity period stamped on your Passport.
     For e-Medical Attendant Visa, the validity would be 60 days from the date of first arrival in India and triple entry will be allowed within the e-Visa validity period stamped on your Passport.

• Q10. Can I convert my e-Visa to any other Visa?

  Ans- No, e-Visa is non-extendable and non-convertible.

• Q11. Can I change the port of arrival/departure?

  Ans- You may arrive at 28 designated Airports i.e. Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Bagdogra, Bengaluru, Bhubaneshwar, Calicut, Chennai, Chandigarh, Cochin, Coimbatore, Delhi, Gaya, Goa, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur,Kolkata, Lucknow, Madurai, Mangalore, Mumbai, Nagpur, Port Blair, Pune, Tiruchirapalli, Trivandrum, Varanasi & Visakhapatnam, and 5 designated seaports (i.e. Cochin, Goa, Mangalore,
     Chennai and Mumbai seaports). You may depart from any of the Indian Immigration Check Posts (ICPs).

• Q12. I have not received any intimation even after 72 Hours of submission of my e-Visa application. What should I do now?

     The applicants are advised to beware of unscrupulous elements/ travel agents/ intermediaries in this regard. In cases where applicants have been asked for correct details or additional information where application is incomplete, the same must be sent immediately. • Q13. I am applying e-Visa for myself and my son/daughter who is a minor. Do I need to apply for a separate e-Visa for my minor child?

  Ans- Yes, ensure that your child?s passport is valid at-least for next 06 (six) months from the date of arrival in India.

• Q14. I have submitted my e-Visa application and paid the processing fee. If I cancel my proposed visit to India, will the fees be refunded?

Govardhan puja is a pure vegetarian festival similar to many other Hindu festivals. This is celebrated to mark the appreciation to Lord Krishna, who lifted the Govardhan Hill for  the people of Vrindavan in order to provide shelter from sudden torrential rain (Bhagwat Purana).

There is no where mentioned in any valid texts that Lord Krishna consumed milk or milk products. Krishna’s true vegan nature is found in the 9th Skandha 26th verse of the Bhagavad Gita, states that the appropriate offerings to God are a flower, a leaf, fruit or water; all are absolutely vegan offerings.

Folktales are very important to Hindu culture because these are the actual application of our Hindu philosophy. The folktales of a lactarian culture does not acknowledge anything but lactarian history and behavior. Why Lord Ganesh rides a Mouse?

As seen in pic and idols, Lord Ganesh is always shown with a cute mouse, that is his ride. But, except on Ganesh Chaturthi (which is his birthday) most of Hindus handle it in a cruel manner. We ignore the fact that both mice and rats are highly social animals. They become attached to each other, love their own families, and easily bond with their human guardians - returning as much affection as is given to them. 

You might often wondered how and why elephant headed Lord Ganesh rides a tiny mouse? 

Here is a story behind it. According to Ganesha Purana (AD 1300-1600), there was a celestial musician-lord named Krauncha. He accidentally stepped on the foot of Muni Vamadeva, who cursed him to become a mouse. However, later he promised to Krauncha that - one day the Gods themselves would bow down before him.

Once, when Lord Ganesha was invited to Maharishi Parashar’s Ashrama. Krauncha ended up stepping on the ashram and destroyed it. Lord Ganesha decided to meet the nasty mouse to teach him a lesson. He unleashed one of his weapons called ‘pasha’ which ended up looping around Krauncha’s neck and brought him to Ganesha’s feet. Kroncha asked for forgiveness and asked Ganesha to accept him as his vehicle. However, Krauncha couldn’t bear the weight of Lord Ganesha and he requested him to become light-weight which can be bearable. Since then the mouse is the vehicle of Lord Ganesha.

Why to put ban on donation for religion?

विज्ञान मानता है कि धरती पर इंसान की तरह का प्राणी लगभग 20 लाख साल से है। जबकि मानव सभ्यता तकरीबन 20 हज़ार साल पुरानी है। आदिम मानव का पाषाण युग तक कोई भगवान नही था। प्रकृति के नियम के अनुसार जानवरों के जैसे सबको अपना भोजन खुद जुटाना पड़ता था। 

बढ़ते समय के साथ-साथ मानव और भी व्यवस्थित होता गया। जैसा कि हम सब जानते हैं पृथ्वी पर मानव ही ऐसा जीव है जो अपनी बुद्धि का उपयोग कर अपनी प्राकृतिक जरूरतों जैसे भोजन, सेक्स और प्रजनन के बहुत आगे तक सोच सकता है। जिसका उपयोग करके मानव ने पहले संघटन की ताकत को जाना और समझा। इसके बाद लोग समूहों, गिरोहों तथा कबीलों में बंटने लगे जिससे सामूहिक हिंसा शुरु हुई एवं वर्चस्व की लड़ाई ने राजनीति की उत्पत्ति की।

दुनिया में किसी भी धर्म को खंगाल लीजिये उनमें मूल बातें लगभग एक जैसी ही हैं। अंधभक्त, डरपोक, कामी, क्रोधी, लालची, खुदगर्ज, कमज़ोर, कामचोर और ठग प्रवृत्ति जैसे नकारात्मक गुणों वाले लोगों के माध्यम से शासन करने के लिए उनके समझदार लोगों ने राजनीतिक जड़े मजबूत करने के क्रम में धर्म को बढ़ावा दिया।

आगे चलकर सभी धर्मों ने ईश्वरीय दूत या देवी-देवताओं की उत्पति की परिकल्पना को धर्म ग्रंथों के द्वारा फैलाया। सीधे-साधे लोगों को अप्रत्यक्ष रूप से उनके जीवन-यापन के व्यवस्था में मदद कर एवम एक काल्पनिक स्वर्ग के बारे में बार-बार झूठ बोल कर ईश्वरीय शक्ति के नाम पर बेवकूफ़ बनाया। जनता के पैसों को भगवान के नाम पर जमाकर अंधविश्वास का व्यापार इतना फ़ैलाया ताकि समाज में धर्म के ठेकेदार बिना मेहनत के सभी सुख-सुविधाओं के साथ सम्मान के अधिकारी बने रहें। जो धर्म जितना ज्यादा पुराना है वो उतना ही इस धंधे में पारंगत है। आज के इन्टरनेट-स्पेस टेक्नोलॉजी की दुनिया मे भी इनके अनुसार पृथ्वी पर होने वाली प्रकृति की हर घटना जैसे कि भूकंप, आंधी-तूफान, बाढ़ और बीमारी सर्व शक्तिमान ईश्वर की इच्छाओं से होती है। 

आजकल जिस देश में आर्थिक विकास का स्तर जितनी ज्यादा बढ़ रही है वहां धर्म और धार्मिक कर्म-कांड को मानने वाले लोगों की जनसंख्या उतनी ही तेजी से घट रही है। पर पिछले कुछ दशकों से विकासशील देशों में संघटन शक्ति को बरकरार रखने के लिए चंदा वसूली का व्यापार तेजी से चल रहा है। इसलिए किसी  भी छोटे या बड़े पर्व-त्योहार में कार्यकर्ता या वालंटियर्स अपने इलाके में रहने वाले लोगों से चंदा मांगने जाते है तो वे चंदा देने वाले के आर्थिक स्थिति पर अपने जजमेंट के अनुसार चंदे की धन राशि देने की मांग करते है। कोई विरोध करता है तो ये कहते हैं कि हमारे समाज ने यह तय किया है कि कम से कम इतना चंदा देना तो जरूरी है। अपनी बात मनवाने के लिए ये गाली-गलौज से लेकर मार-पीट तक भी करने से नही चूकते।  

सरकारी टैक्स से शायद आप बच जाएँ पर चंदे से नही बच सकते। आपके पास भले ही इलाज़ के पैसे हो या नही पर सम्मान के साथ अपने समाज में रहने के लिए चंदे के लिए पैसे जरुर होना चाहिए। सभी धर्मो में संगठन मंत्रियों ने इस कार्य में राजनीतिक संरक्षण का पूरा फायदा उठाया है। चंदे के राशि का 20-70 प्रतिशत तक कार्यकर्तओं को संगठित करने में खर्च होता है जो कि अप्रत्यक्ष रुप से किसी राजनीतिक विचारधारा को आगे बढ़ाने का काम करते है। चंदे के पैसे का ना कोई ऑफिसियल ऑडिट होता है ना ही यहां कोई टैक्स का टेंशन। गली-चौराहे में इसके लिए बड़े-बड़े पोस्टर लगाने का नियम-कानून सरकार नही बल्कि राजनीतिक पार्टियां खुद ही बना लेती है।

The Growing Steps of Middle Class in Startup World

Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam is a Sanskrit phrase, it means - entire world is our family, which has been an integral part of ancient Hindu civilization. But there is no shortage of people in our country who carry a fake pride of this. Those who have never been tired of criticizing capitalism-led pyramidical economic system and government policy since their childhood. Though, they find themselves being enslaved of same before reaching to adolescence.

वसुधैव-कुटुम्बकम् यानी कि संसार ही अपना परिवार है को अपनी सभ्यता बताकर झूठे गर्व करने वाले लोगों की अपने देश में कोई कमी नही है। जो कि बचपन से ही पूंजीवाद के नेतृत्व वाली पिरामिडकल आर्थिक प्रणाली और सरकारी नीतियों की बुराई करते थकते नहीं हैं पर अपने होश संभालने तक ये खुद इनके गिरफ्त में पाये जाते हैं।

बचपन से ही ये लोगों के दिमाग में फाइनेंसियल इनसिक्योरिटी का डर इस कदर बैठा दिया जाता है कि ये हमेशा एक-दूसरे से मिलने पर सबसे पहले 'नौकरी, शादी और मकान' के बारे में ही पूछते है। इसे एक मध्यम-वर्गीय सोच के नाम से जाना जाता है। इनलोगों ने अपने जीवन को एक प्रकार से किराने दुकान की सूची बना दी थी।

आज के स्मार्टफोन की दुनिया में फ्री-इंटरनेट इन लोगों की सोच को प्रभावित करने वाला सबसे बड़ा साधन बन गया है। आजकल ये खुद अपने बच्चों को स्टार्टअप, फंडिंग और अर्थशास्त्र की व्यावहारिक शिक्षा की ओर अग्रसर कर रहे हैं।
